Philip Martin Gallery and Haverkampf Leistenschneider are pleased to announce, "Philip Martin Gallery @ Haverkampf Leistenschneider." The project will consist of two exhibitions at Haverkampf Leistenschneider's beautiful Berlin gallery space, that will run concurrently from July 4 to 19, 2025.

In a collaboration between the galleries, Philip Martin Gallery has been invited to present its program in two simultaneous exhibitions: the first features new wall-mounted sculptures by Berlin-based artist Katy Cowan; the second is a group presentation of new, rare and never-before-seen woks by Kwame Brathwaite, Sky Glabush, John Joseph Mitchell, Laurie Nye and Sophie Treppendahl.

Berlin audiences first saw Sophie Treppendahl's work at Haverkampf Leistenschender in the exhibitions, “My World Play” (2023) and "A Closer Look” (2025). Sky Glabush and Laurie Nye's respective works were recently featured in "BodyLand” (2022) curated by Lauren Taschen at Galerie Max Hetzler. Kwame Brathwaite and John Joseph Mitchell's respective works have not previously been seen in the city.

Many thanks to Haverkampf Leistenschneider for the collaboration. Many thanks to Katy Cowan, The Kwame Brathwaite Archive, Sky Glabush, John Joseph Mitchell, Laurie Nye and Sophie Treppendahl for the chance to show their work in Berlin.

Please join us for the opening of "Philip Martin Gallery @ Haverkampf Leistenschneider" in July! Details to follow.
