We are proud to announce that Nathan Mabry has been selected for inclusion in the forthcoming book: 100 Sculptors of Tomorrow! The book is set to launch September 3, 2019.
100 Sculptors of Tomorrow "will be an insightful, diverse, and inspiring survey of emerging and unknown talent working in the field of sculpture." The book is authored by Kurt Beers, and is the second in the series, following his 2014 publication: 100 Painters of Tomorrow.
The 100 artists included in the work were selected by a panel of jurors incluing Senior Curator at the Hammer Museum, Anne Ellegood, Artforum critic and editor, David Huber, and UK-based collector, Anita Zabludowicz.
From the website:
"The book will feature high-quality reproductions of each artist's work, plus short texts that include biographical information and quotations from the artists themselves, to provide greater insight into their ways of thinking and individual creative methods. It will also include other resources, such as a further listing of artists to watch, recommended reading , and individual juror picks. This will be the definitive book on the most promising emerging sculptors currently at work."
