Philip Martin Gallery Participates in GALA's Inaugural Edition of Gallery Weekend Los Angeles

Philip Martin Gallery is pleased to announce its participation in Gallery Association Los Angeles's (GALA) inaugural edition of Gallery Weekend Los Angeles, running from July 28 - August 1, 2021.

Philip Martin Gallery will host a brunch at its gallery space on Wednesday, July 28 from 10am-2pm to celebrate the start of Gallery Weekend LA, and Kristy Luck’s solo-exhibition, “giving something a name doesn’t make it real.” Philip Martin Gallery will have extended hours during Gallery Weekend LA and will be open 10am-4pm for the duration of Gallery Weekend LA, including Sunday. 

Featuring over 70 local galleries and art spaces, this will be the first of an annual summer initiative by GALA that is locally-organized and dedicated to the impact that Los Angeles-based galleries contribute towards the city’s cultural community. Programming will include exhibitions, talks, and performances, and will take place at diverse locations across the city, which visitors can learn about through Gallery Map LA, a new online and print resource.
